IoT hardware brands we work with, chosen per site and never locked in
Aqueduct works with meters, sensors, gateways and controllers from a wide set of hardware brands, including Milesight, MultiTech, Synetica and Elsys, plus other leading LoRaWAN and metering manufacturers, selected per site. Aqueduct is device agnostic: the exact make and model is chosen per site by what it must measure, the protocol and the site conditions, and installation runs through partners.

Choose the right device for each site, from brands that report into one platform.
Hardware grouped by what it measures, not who made it
- Capability first
Water meters, air sensors and controllers are grouped by data points, so brands can be swapped.
- Per-site choice
The make and model fits the pipe size, panel, protocol and radio plan in front of us.
- No lock-in
Customers can change brands over time without rebuilding their data or twins.

Every model's readings land in the same data layer
- Model decoders
Each device model's messages are decoded so readings arrive in consistent units.
- Mapped to assets
Each sensor is mapped to the meter, zone or equipment it measures, so readings have context.
- Mixed fleets
Different brands on the same site read as one system in Aqueduct.

Installed and commissioned by people on the ground
- Installation partners
Installation partners fit and commission devices on existing sites and new builds in their regions.
- Health checked
Connection rate and battery levels confirm that every device is reporting well after installation.
- Support across regions
Local availability and regulations guide which brand is chosen for each site and country.

Choosing hardware, before and after Aqueduct
- The platform dictates which sensor brand you buy.
- Switching brands means rebuilding the integration from scratch.
- Each brand reads into its own cloud and app.
- Mixed fleets leave data in different units and formats.
- Hardware is chosen before anyone defines the outcome.
The Aqueduct way- The site and the outcome decide which brand fits.
- Devices are grouped by capability, so brands can change.
- Every brand reports into one aQ Core data layer.
- Model decoders bring every reading into consistent units.
- The outcome comes first, then the hardware to measure it.
Device agnostic, chosen per site
Aqueduct groups hardware by what it senses or controls, not by brand. For each site we choose the make and model that fits the measurement, the pipe size or panel, the radio plan and the protocols already in place. That keeps customers free to change brands over time without rebuilding anything.
We don't sell hardware as our core business. Devices are specified with the customer and installed through partners, and anything that emits telemetry can be onboarded.

How hardware is chosen for a site
Start from the outcome
Decide what must be measured or controlled: a water balance, tenant billing, air quality by zone or RTU control.
Reuse what exists
List meters, BMS points and equipment that already emit telemetry, and connect them first.
Fill the gaps
Pick devices by data points, pipe size or panel, protocol and radio coverage, from the brands we work with.
Install through partners
Installation partners and system integrators fit and commission the devices, then Aqueduct checks device health.
Open protocols
Every brand connects over open protocols.

Mix new devices with meters already installed

Common questions
Aqueduct works with brands including Milesight, MultiTech, Synetica and Elsys, plus other leading LoRaWAN and metering manufacturers, selected per site. Anything that emits telemetry over an open protocol can be onboarded.
No. Aqueduct is device agnostic and groups hardware by capability, so the make and model is chosen per site and can change over time without rebuilding the integration.
Often, yes. Aqueduct onboards devices that emit telemetry over LoRaWAN, Modbus, BACnet, M-Bus, MQTT or pulse, after a decoder is set up for the model.
Not as its core business. Hardware is specified for the site and supplied and installed through partners. Milvian AI builds the Aqueduct platform.
It is decided per site with the customer and the delivery partner, based on what must be measured, pipe size or panel layout, protocol, radio coverage and local availability.
Apply as a hardware partner. We review the device, its data points and protocol, and set up decoding so its readings land in Aqueduct.
